(Select this category if you have belonged to the CPA within the last 3 years)Full Members must (1) hold a Doctorate in Psychology, (2) be licensed as a psychologist in the State of California, or (3) be a Diplomat of the American Board of Professional Psychology. (For the purposes of determining CPA member status, Licensed Educational Psychologists are accepted on the same basis as Licensed Psychologists.)
New Early Career/ New Doctorates in their 3rd and 4th year after receiving doctoral degree.
Associate members are persons who hold a Master's Degree in Psychology or the equivalent. If you are a matriculating student, you may apply as a student.
Student members are matriculating students in a psychology graduate program, or postdoctoral fellows in an organized psychology training program within a clinic, hospital, industrial or university setting.
